Be Kind and variations of those two words are often mentioned in difficult times. We know, as a new estate agency in Burton, how challenging the past two years have been for many. The internet can be a perfect place of positivity – and a nest of negativity at times.
We’ve seen the best (and worst) of people during the pandemic. But, on the whole, don’t you agree that so much positivity has been shown online and in real life? Take the NHS. A public service who’ve worked wonders for a long time and particularly in recent years. We had a weekly ritual of applauding their work on doorsteps. Houses were decorated with rainbows thanking the NHS and Banksy even made a piece of art work with nurses becoming superheroes to children. Did you see that? It sold for a high price too at an auction.
And rightly so.
At Dwellings, we’re always appreciative of the people who serve us all day-to-day, like teachers, nurses, doctors and many other key workers.
To demonstrate that just recently, we made the local news. All about appreciation for the NHS in a public expression of thanks.
How?
BY OFFERING OUR SERVICES FOR FREE
You can read the link here in full.
It marks too not only our thanks but the ways this new Burton estate agency thinks and behaves differently. Many estate agents in Burton and elsewhere charge a fixed fee or % commission on sales. We don’t. We have an introductory offer of just £499 to sell and no corners are cut.
Before Christmas, this low fee was made completely free for NHS staff too.
We’ve other incentives to list with us too – beyond the headline price.
Firstly, we list properties expertly on all the main property portals. We are on Rightmove, Zoopla and On The Market with a genuine 24/7 telephone answering service.
Secondly, we have extensive local knowledge of Burton and surrounding villages, as our team grew up and/or live here. Local knowledge is great but you can expect premium service like professional photography, floorplans and accompanied viewings.
Thirdly, and perhaps most importantly, our Burton estate agency was set up and directed by a team who know all about the legal matters of buying and selling property. This means that the gap between estate agent and conveyancing solicitor is closed with us. We know about buying and selling property – and we are experts in the legal matters, like searches, deeds etc which 95% of estate agents have limited knowledge. That’s not us criticising rivals – not at all, we’re simply pointing out to you that our company has legally trained members of staff, meaning you have the best of both worlds.
Recently too, away from the local headline, of selling property for free for NHS workers, we had another spotlight shone on us for Being Kind.
We’ll explain more about that in our next blog post!
